Ballet Department
WITH GREAT PRECISION
Aerial is pleased to offer a Russian based Ballet technique. Students are required to wear the uniform assigned to their grade, hair in a bun and proper shoes. Each student will be assessed and placed in a grade by the Ballet Mistress.
GRADES
Each grade will offer students barre, cross-floor and center work. A disciplined environment, professional barres and accomplished Ballet Mistress Cherie Pauls, make our ballet program unique. Classes available include Junior Levels, Grades 1-5, Elementary and Intermediate. As Ballet is the foundation of all dance, it is required for competitive students. Please contact the studio for further information regarding this policy.
Pointe
When the Ballet Mistress deems the student ready, they may begin our Pointe program. We offer classes ranging from beginner to pre-professional. Our Ballet Mistress offers a safe environment with outstanding results.
demi-character
Aerial offers a spectacular Demi-Character Program, giving students an opportunity to explore the classics or create their own unique tale. Competitive dancers only please.
contemporary
Based on Ballet technique and often drawing on Modern, Contemporary Ballet is a fusion of styles often performed to 20th century music. Competitive dancers only please.
modern
Modern allows dancers the opportunity to express themselves openly through unique movement structure. Students will be exposed to a variety of styles while pushing the limits of their own technique. Our Graham-based program stresses a structured class with warm-up, cross-floor and center.
